Strong Families
Raise Capable Kids

One of the greatest pleasures of living in Johnston County is the emphasis on family. Folks take it seriously here – they know that family is where everything starts and ends.  We couldn’t agree more so the Partnership for Children works to help families stay strong, through good times and bad.

We Prepare kids for a better future

At Partnership for Children, we understand the saying “it takes a village“. There’s a lot that goes into making sure that children are prepared for their future! That’s why we designed our organization to tackle the issue from all possible angles. We have separate departments that work together towards the same common goal:

Ensuring that every child
in Johnston County enters Kindergarten
ready to succeed

Here is how we Do This

One Reason

Those First 2000 Days

The human brain is the only organ in the body that is not fully developed at birth. The first five years of a child’s life is when the brain establishes it’s foundation for understanding how life works. We’re not just talking about a love of learning that helps them be successful in school. This is when they learn how to interact with other people, recognize boundaries, govern their emotions, communicate, collaborate and problem solve. This is when your child’s self-esteem is first determined.
